Las Vegas residents refuse water from artists attempting carbon neutral commentary
http://www.lasvegasweekly.com/content/news/the-intersection/single-story... Las Vegas Weekly has an article by Liz Armstrong about an artwork proposed by Katie Salen and Marina Zurkow that would distribute 240 gallons of water from melted ice to locals for free. The work was commissioned by Americans for the Arts as a show piece for their annual convention. No one in Las Vegas accepted the water. The article is short, but long on irony.

My Car Can Breathe
Amazing - a car that runs on compressed air. Too bad it's really freakin ugly. Makes me think: What if you combined a solar panel with an air compressing machine? Could you have a car that refills while it drives? Could you develop a system that would generate enough compressed air to run the car in the city, thus providing an entirely sustainabile vehicle?

This is an umbrella initiative for the collected personal workspaces for the Digital Media Studies and eMAD class at the University of Denver, Spring 2007.

CR Alpha Initiative
A small collaborative team will use this CR Alpha Initiative to test and improve the foundational functions and uses of the CollectiveResolve project/site/platform.
We will work to quickly brainstorm, define, and solve a problem/initiative for local, public change within the fast project timeline of about four weeks.
AIGA NEXT Conference // Interaction Design
This is the introductory space for the AIGA NEXT Interaction Design collaboration team. This space is available for the group to share ideas/resources/links and comment and work towards specific AIGA NEXT National Conference tools and network space for pre-during-post interaction.
You can "Create content" i.e. a new page in the shared Workbook (wiki-like pages, ordered together and printable document), Forum Topic, Blog entry, or an Event.
