This is an umbrella initiative for the collected personal workspaces for the Digital Media Studies and eMAD class at the University of Denver, Spring 2007.

Content can be shared within this aggregate class workspace and members can review and comment on other initiatives and ideas having free control over what is private and publicly shared with the class. Your personal blog is a great start to sharing links and ideas for comment.

Eve Mosher's High Water Line
Wow, I am moved by Eve Mosher's piece High Water Line in which she's drawing out a line where water would rise to in New York given the current trends in global warming. I think this definitely will effect people who are living along the line she's drawing, and perhaps motivate them to call for change!
I'd really love to see this in Louisiana.

My Car Can Breathe
Amazing - a car that runs on compressed air. Too bad it's really freakin ugly. Makes me think: What if you combined a solar panel with an air compressing machine? Could you have a car that refills while it drives? Could you develop a system that would generate enough compressed air to run the car in the city, thus providing an entirely sustainabile vehicle?

Find an Energy-Saving Light Bulb
I've found that the most promoted step in reducing energy use is in changing from incandescent bulbs to flourescent bulbs. We use flourescent bulbs in only one lamp at our house and don't like the "flicker" at start, nor the color temperature of light that it gives off (bought at IKEA three years ago).
